Purpose: The Austin Road Art Club provides students with opportunities to explore their creativity, develop artistic skills, and express themselves through a variety of hands-on art experiences.
Activity: Club members will experiment with different techniques and mediums while building confidence, problem-solving skills, and visual arts in a fun, collaborative environment.

Purpose: The purpose of Beta Club is to recognize and develop fifth-grade students who demonstrate strong academic achievement, character, leadership, and service.
Activities: Through school and community service projects, students will learn the importance of responsibility, teamwork, and making a positive impact on others. The club will provide opportunities for students to strengthen.

Purpose: The Austin Road Chorus provides fourth and fifth-grade students with the opportunity to develop their vocal talents while fostering a love for music and performance.
Activities: Through singing, teamwork, and practice, students will build confidence, strengthen musical skills, and represent Austin Road Elementary by sharing their talent with the school and community through evening and weekend practices.

Purpose: The Austin Road Elementary Dance Club is open to students in grades 3-5 who enjoy dancing and having fun with learn a variety of new dances while building confidence, coordination, and teamwork.
Activity: Whether you’re new to dance or already love to move, everyone is welcome to join. Come have fun, stay active, and show off your new dance moves!

Purpose: The Austin Road Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl Club encourages students to develop a love of reading while strengthening comprehension, critical thinking, and teamwork.
Activities: Students will read a selection of Georgia Children’s Book Award nominees, participate in collaborative discussions, and prepare to represent Austin Road Elementary in the annual Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl competition.

Purpose: The Amazing Shake Club provides fifth-grade students with opportunities to develop essential life skills that will prepare them for success in middle school and beyond. Through engaging, hands-on experiences, students build confidence in communication, professionalism, problem-solving, leadership, and critical thinking. The club emphasizes character, resilience, and interpersonal skills while teaching students how to navigate real-world situations with poise and respect.
Activities: Participating in the Amazing Shake, students grow as confident leaders who are prepared to represent themselves and Austin Road Elementary with excellence.

Purpose: The Austin Road Technology Club provides students with opportunities to explore technology through hands-on, creative, and collaborative experiences.
Activities: Students will develop digital literacy, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills while learning about coding, digital citizenship, multimedia creation, and emerging technologies in a fun and engaging environment.

Purpose: The Austin Road Science Olympiad Club provides students with opportunities to explore science, engineering, and problem-solving through engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
Activities: Students will work collaboratively to investigate scientific concepts, develop critical thinking skills, and prepare to represent Austin Road Elementary in Science Olympiad competitions while fostering curiosity and a lifelong love of STEM.

Purpose: The ARES FLL Robotics club provides selected 4th and 5th grade students with the opportunity to build an understanding and explore the worlds of science, and engineering, coding, and robotics. Over the course of a season, participants will explore a current scientific problem and develop a solution to solve this problem.
Activities: They will build and program a robot to autonomously complete obstacles on the field kit. Students will also develop teamwork, communication, collaboration, and other 21st-century skills that will help them in their futures. This is a closed club and open by invitation only.
